ExpressCare+ is Express Tech’s protection plan for certified pre-owned and post-repair devices. ExpressCare+ offers comprehensive coverage ensuring your device will be serviced by Apple-certified technicians and is backed by Safeware – one of the most recognized names in product protection.
With ExpressCare+ customers may choose up to 3 years of coverage on iPad and Mac, and up to 2 years on iPhone. The protection plan includes coverage of all manufacturer defects, power surges, liquid spills and accidental damage from handling (ADH). Better yet, with ExpressCare+, there are no deductibles!
Terms and Conditions:
- Devices covered by ExpressCare+ are protected from manufacturer defect, mechanical or electrical failure, power surges and accidental damage from handling (ADH) — i.e. drops, spills, etc.
- There is no deductible for any ADH claim.
- Devices covered by ExpressCare+ will either be repaired or replaced with a like-product of equal value through the protection plan.
- A full device replacement would fulfill the coverage contract.
- Coverage begins from the date of purchase through the duration of coverage period or until claims/repairs meets the purchase price of the device.
- There is no limit to the number of claims/repairs covered as long as the sum of all work performed is below the initial service contract amount (purchase price of the device).
- Loss and theft are not covered.
- 2-way domestic shipping is included for mail-in repair

There is no deductible for any repair/service claims tied back to accidental damage from handling (ADH).
Your device is covered for any/all repairs up to the device purchase amount from Express Tech.
Example: You purchase a Certified Pre-Owned MacBook Pro for $1,199 with ExpressCare+. You would then have up to $1,199 in repair and/or replacement coverage. If extensive damage to your device requires a replacement, the contract is fulfilled.
Yes! Most Apple devices can have coverage either added or extended. Simply visit your local Express Tech for a complimentary service diagnostic and eligibility assessment
The customer may visit any Express Tech for service, or if there is not a location conveniently available, they may contact Safeware to facilitate 2-way shipping for repair.
ExpressCare offers the same world-class coverage backed by Safeware, however, it does not include any accidental damage coverage.
